Full episode recap:
Now travelling through areas off their map, the Fantasia meet some friendly travellers. Yves plays cards with one of them, and wins a map of the area, including the route back to Solis. Whilst making their way along the route, Garland spots the silver girl, who beckons her not to continue along that road. Garland tries to persuade the rest of the Fantasia, but they will not listen ad carry on. After a while, they reach the sea, where they were supposed to reach a village. The map is useless, but the Fantasia take the chance to relax on the beach. When they return to their trucks, they find the travellers they met earlier waiting to ambush them – the Fantasia have walked into a trap.

These travellers are actually Flesh-Pirates – pirates who capture people to sell as slaves. They divide the Fantasia: the females will go to Manland – a place where due to misguided experiments after the apocalypse the women only give birth to boys. They will live a life of luxury, but will nonetheless have no freedom. The males will be sent to work in the jip-mines – a very different life, which undoubtedly will not last long.

One of the pirates comes to tell the females that the Sultan of Manland wishes to see Garland. They also say that two tradesmen have asked for a solar converter, which they know the Fantasia have. Knowing full well who these two tradesmen are – Ozul and Maska – Garland agrees to see the Sultan without any fuss on the condition that the Fantasia keep the converter. The pirates agree, and Garland is taken to meet the Sultan. To her disbelief, she is taken by Gabrielle Maddigan, her Grandmother, who was thought to be dead. She tells Garland that she has been held captive by the Flesh-Pirates. When Garland meets the Sultan, it turns out that her wants her to marry Edgar, his son. They are left in a tent to converse.

In the cage where the men and boys are kept, Eden sleeps. The pirates come and ask for Timon and his brother. Timon stands, and before he can do anything Boomer stands and convinces the unintelligent pirate that he is indeed Timon’s brother. They are taken to a campsite where they find Ozul and Maska waiting. They escape the clutches of the pirate, but only Boomer gets away. Timon, who has been feeling very unwell recently, is forced to the communicator, where he sees the Nennog. The Nennog asks for a closer look at Timon, and states that all is developing well. Timon, who is terrified and does not understand what the Nennog means, cries out for explanations, but gets none.

Meanwhile, Gabrielle gives the men and boys a plan to escape. Bannister will fight one of the pirates. If he wins, they are set free. If not, Gabrielle gives the pirates her many treasures. Blackbeard, the chief pirate, agrees, but tells them that Eden is to fight instead. Whilst Eden dodges the pirate, Gabrielle manages to pickpocket the keys and release the males. Having already taken the pirates swords, they outnumber the pirates. Eden has already run to the caravan where the females are being kept captive, and uses his powers to remove the lock. They then go and free Garland, who has already put Edgar to sleep and tied him up! Having defeated the pirates, they find Boomer who takes them to where he last saw Timon. They find him wandering, dazed, and not remembering what has happened.

Gabrielle takes the Fantasia to her van, to show them her treasure – it is full to bursting with books. She tells them that she is part of an underground library, who secretly delivers books to those without access to them. She asks Bannister to join her – he would love to, but is reluctant. Gabrielle makes a deal – she will give the Fantasia an accurate map if she can have the services of Bannister. They agree to meet him in Solis before the solstice, and continue on their journey, now truly knowing the way home.
