Full episode recap:
Running low on water, the Fantasia stop off at the simple village of Swampton to top up. They find that the village is in thrall to a witch-finder, who claims to protect the village from evil spirits, demons and witches. That night, Garland, Timon and Boomer witness the witch-finder ‘rounding-up’ evil spirits, supposedly to take them to her tower.
In the morning, Eden shows some of the local children his magical skills, but this is witnessed by the witch-finder, who accuses both him and Goneril of witchcraft. She has them both arrested, and put on trial. At the trial, Maddie tries to defend them, but is silenced. Eden and Goneril are condemned to take the ‘dunking-chair’ test. They will be tied to a weighted chair, and lowered into a well for 5 minutes. If they survive, they must be witches. If not, they are innocent – but dead.
Sensing that there’s more to the witch-finder than meets the eye, Timon takes Garland and Boomer to the tower whilst the witch-finder is at the trial. Inside, they find a generator and many robotic spirits, which the witch-finder has been using to scare the villagers into believing her. Bringing the robots to the well, where Eden and Goneril are about to be lowered, they persuade the villagers that the witch-finder is fake. Having primed explosives in the witch-finders tower, Timon forces the witch-finder to release Goneril and Eden, and the Fantasia continue unharmed.
